Ice Cube Talks Final ‘Friday’ Movie Jason Derulo chat with James Corden

Ice Cube and Jason Derulo chat with James Corden

Everyone has a mom and sometimes you have to explain things to her, like what your single called “Swalla” is about, or why you have a song called “F–k Tha Police.” How do you do that? Viewers found out on Tuesday night (May 16) when Jason Derulo and Ice Cube sat down with The Late Late Show host James Corden to talk about their famous songs and their favorite movie. HustleTV

Describing the new explicit version of “Swalla” he’s just released, Derulo said he wanted to slow the track down so you could really get the, um, feel for the lyrics. “What’s the inspiration behind the song? I’m scared to ask if I’m honest,” Corden probed innocently. “It’s up for interpretation,” Derulo said. “Is it?,” Corden replied, noting that a lot of Jason’s music is about sex and wondering how his mom feels about that.

“‘Talk Dirty’ she thought was going to end my career,” DeRulo admitted. “‘It’s just too dirty, baby, this is not you,'” his mother told him about the 2014 smash. “I’m like, ‘ma, it is me!’ And then ‘Talk Dirty’ did what it did and ‘Swalla’ came on the scene and she was like, ‘I love this!'” Cube agreed, saying moms don’t want you to do anything “until the money comes in.”

Watch Cube describe how his mom reacted to N.W.A’s famous anti-establishment anthem: DJ Hustle

Derulo was just thrilled to be anywhere near the N.W.A legend because, as it turns out, he’s a massive Friday fan. “Friday was one of my favorite movies of all time,” Derulo told Cube about his legendary 1995 stoner comedy. “Literally I would watch it every single Friday, it was that serious.” Cube then dropped some news about the cult classic, revealing that he’s finally working on the fourth, and last chapter in the series. HustleTV

“We’re working on one right now,” Cube said. “We’re gonna call it Last Friday.” Cube — who had to break the news to Corden that there’s probably not a role for him in the sequel — was, however, willing to indulge the host’s desire to learn more about the art of hand-checking in basketball while hyping his Big 3 basketball league. Watch the action get physical. HustleTV

Tina Fey Joins Jimmy Fallon’s Ragtime Gals for Least Sexy Bruno Mars

The former 30 Rock star dropped by The Tonight Show on Wednesday (May 10) to visit her old Saturday Night Live pal Jimmy Fallon and sit in with his old-timey barbershop crew, The Ragtime Gals, for a spirited, sex-less-on-purpose cover of Bruno Mars‘ “That’s What I Like.” HustleTV

Fey also gave Jimmy an update on the Mean Girls musical she’s producing, telling him it’s “moving along” and that previews will start later this year after the bound-for-Broadway show gets its act together at a theater three blocks from the White House.

“We’re going to D.C. We’re at the National Theatre,” she revealed. “Previews start on Halloween. It’s so cool. It’s so fun because — you can sing — but I’ve been in stuff that’s like movie musicals, whatever, a little bit. The secret with movie musicals is you can secretly suck and be a star. But to do things on stage? Like, these kids are so talented. We have the cast now. We’ve been rehearsing for about a month. There’s a bunch of baby Timberlakes. Everyone can do everything! They just sing so loud and they dance so hard.” HustleTV

DJ Hustle Stars In A Buffalo Wild Wings Commercial

By | Comedy, Featured, News | No Comments

Buffalo Wild Wings Dj Hustle

HustleTV Buffalo Wild Wings Dj Hustle: Watch as DJ Hustle takes you behind the scenes of his new Buffalo Wild Wings tv commercial. Hustle has been in many tv spots but this commercial will have laughing out loud.

It all started in 1982 with one restaurant in Columbus, OH. Since then we’ve grown to have a store in every state in the U.S. and continue to open B-Dubs® around the world (you’re welcome, Earth).

But really, all you need to know “About Us” is these three things: Wings. BeerSports.™ Why do those three things matter to us so much? Because that’s what our fans want, and that’s what we’re all about—making our fans happy.

No matter how many locations we’ve opened, where our corporate headquarters are or how many years we’ve been around one thing remains the same: Buffalo Wild Wings® is the ultimate place to get together with your friends, watch sports, drink beer and eat wings.

Still reading? Wow, you must be bored. How about some trivia: baseball hats used to be made out of straw. The oldest recipe ever discovered was for beer. Buffalo wings were invented by samurai. We made one of those up.

There you have it. If you love wings, beer and sports like we do, then this is the place for you. If you don’t like any of those things… we still might have something you’d likeHustleTV

Melissa McCarthy

Sean Spicer Press Conference (Melissa McCarthy) – SNL

By | Comedy, News | No Comments

HustleTV Comedy News  Donald Trump’s Twitter silence on Melissa McCarthy’s Internet-shaking Saturday Night Live performance might say more than all his responses to Alec Baldwin combined, but McCarthy’s fellow comics haven’t been nearly so quiet.

“Melissa McCarthy is a modern-day Jackie Gleason,” says Seth MacFarlane. A “108 MPH fastball,” praises Seth Meyers. Artie Lange, known for his work with Howard Stern and on SNL‘s old rival Mad TV, calls McCarthy’s season-stealing turn “as good a performance as TV has ever seen.” HustleTV

McCarthy’s surprise appearance Saturday as Trump press spokesman Sean Spicer — sputtering, irate, combative, unhinged — has brought the long-running SNL massive attention (and good ratings), even for a season that dropped Baldwin’s portrayal of Trump squarely into the center of the cultural zeitgeist.

And while the president didn’t hold back in his dislike — which might be too soft a word — for Baldwin, he hasn’t tweeted a word on McCarthy (yet). Spicer himself said last night the performance was “cute” but took good-natured issue with the gum-chewing. HustleTV

Comedian Ricky Harris, known for roles in ‘Dope’ and ‘Everybody Hates Chris,’ dies at 54

By | Comedy, News | No Comments

HustleTV Entertainment News Ricky Harris, a comedian known for both his racy stand-up act and his appearances in family-friendly fare such as the TV series “Everybody Hates Chris,” died Monday, his manager said. He was 54.

The cause was not immediately known. But Harris’ manager, Cindy Ambers of Art/Work Entertainment, said Harris had suffered a heart attack two years ago.

Fellow performers posted condolences on social media, including comedians Sinbad and Cedric the Entertainment— the latter of whom Tweeted: “Devastated!!! #RIP to the One and Only #RickyHarris.” HustleTV

Harris, the son of a preacher, was raised in Long Beach. He made a name for himself as a performer on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam” in the 1990s with a pop culture-inflected routine that touched on subjects such as horror movie sound effects and movie sex.

He made his acting debut in the 1993 drama “Poetic Justice,” which starred Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur. Two years later he appeared in “Heat,” a heist film directed by Michael Mann. HustleTV

Harris appeared on TV series such as “Moesha” and Chris Rock’s “Everybody Hates Chris,” where he played the charming neighborhood ne’er-do-well, Malvo. Other recent appearances included roles on the 2015 dramedy “Dope” and “The Tracy Morgan Show.”

Harris was also known for doing raunchy skits on the albums of rapper Snoop Dogg, a childhood friend from Long Beach. (The pair sang in their church choir together.)

Snoop Dogg posted a short, mournful video to Instagram calling the actor “my big brother, my homeboy” and a “Long Beach original” — saying that he was “on his way to heaven now.”

Harris is survived by his mother, his ex-wife and two daughters.
