DJ Carisma Queen Of The West Coast Radio

DJ Carisma

Observed DJ, maker and current Ruler of West Drift radio, DJ Carisma is as powerful as she is magnetic. She’s known for breaking some of West Drift’s most unmistakable hip jump specialists, from Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga, to New boyz and TeeFLii, inciting her to fire up her own particular name and DJ Group, Youthful California. HustleTV

Experiencing childhood in Santa Clause Ana, LA, exemplary shake is the thing that Carisma (otherwise known as Cathleen Robertson) heard at home, yet hip bounce is the thing that she searched out on the radio. As a child, recording and cutting her own particular mixtapes was Carisma’s beginning stage into what might end up noticeably a standout amongst the best female vocations in standard radio, and apparently hip bounce full quit, having now created tracks for any semblance of Tinashe, Chris Dark colored, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign. HustleTV

Hot 97 Unleash The Female Emcees

By | indie hustle, Music, News | No Comments

HustleTV Music News Our correspondent Robert Frezza jumps into action at Hot 97’s Who’s Next Showcase this past Monday night showed off the female emcee’s this time around at SOBs and Connie Diiamond blew the roof off the venue.

Don’t get it wrong rapper Signature strutted her red locks and sexy looks on stage. Kyah Baby and Lola Brooke showed off their street style flow and delivery, but it was Connie Diiamond

that lyrically did the most damage as she brought up her entire crew on stage and brought the crowd to their feet. Diiamond models her rap career closely to Missy Elliott so much so she is naming her next mix tape after her. HustleTV DJ Hustle DJ Hustle

HustleTV  Flip Major is back with the video for “WYKAI (What You Know About It),” the first visual release from his upcoming debut album, Take a Look. Produced by KY, and directed by and Flip himself, the video brings Flip’s raps to life in visual form.

“My concept for the video was to physically bring my lyrics to life by bringing the elements in the record to me,” Flip told XXL of his newest video. “For example, anybody can shoot a video near a bank with an ATM, but how many can bring an ATM machine inside of a studio to them?” HustleTV

DJ Hustle Of HustleTV started to sang happy birthday to the Brooklyn legend Dane Dane. BWalker presents its first celebrity birthday bash for Hip Hop Legend Dana Dane September 1, 2015 at a private location in the downtown area. The Hip Hop alumnus will celebrate his 50th birthday and 30-year anniversary as a pioneer who has made groundbreaking music in Hip Hop.

DJ Hustle Of HustleTV talks starting from scratch with DJ Scratch. For over two decades, DJ Scratch has been everyone’s favorite DJ’s favorite DJ. Acknowledged as one of the greatest DJs of all time and in 2006, he was honored in The Source Magazine as a Hip Hop Icon. Scratch is the man who provided the flamboyance to EPMD, Jay Z and P Diddy’s stage shows. Throughout the years with EPMD, Scratch drove audiences into frenzies with visual and technical routines far beyond mortal DJs. One of his most famous routines is cutting Big Daddy Kane’s “Friday the 13th Imma Play Jason” line as he emerges from beneath the turntable set wearing a hockey mask. Various DJ routines & turntable tricks created by Scratch over the past 15 years are still being duplicated by concert & Battle DJs today.

Robin Thicke on ‘Blurred Lines’ & Going on Hiatus: ‘I Had Lost My Way’

By | indie hustle | No Comments

Robin Thicke recently sat down for his first post-“Blurred Lines”-verdict interview with the New York Times, in which he opened up about many of his recent struggles — both legal and otherwise.

Regarding the conclusion of a California jury this spring — that “Blurred Lines” infringed on the copyright of Marvin Gaye’s 1977 single “Got to Give it Up” — Thicke told the Times he “was surprised. Very surprised.”

‘Blurred Lines’ Trial Verdict: Jury Rules Against Pharrell Williams & Robin Thicke

“Obviously, that’s why we’re appealing,” he said. “I know the difference between inspiration and theft. I’m constantly inspired, but I would never steal. And neither would Pharrell.”

Thicke also admitted that his own deposition, where he attempted to distance himself from the song’s creation, was “careless.”

Robin Thicke Admits Drug Abuse, Lying to Media in Wild ‘Blurred Lines’ Deposition

“I didn’t give my all to the trial. It simply wasn’t as important to me as what was going on in my personal life,” he said, referencing his divorce from actress Paula Patton. “I was lost at the time. I had lost my way.”

The singer elaborated on his lowest point, which he says came in June 2014 following a performance at the BET Awards. During the show, Thicke serenaded his ex-wife Patton with one of the many songs dedicated to her on his last album Paula. “What I thought was romantic was just embarrassing,” he said of the performance. “So I shut everything down. I took some time off to be with my son and to be with my family and close friends. And the more time I took off, the more everything became clear.”
