Chris Brown arrives at a historic milestone as his single “Go Crazy,” with Young Thug, leads Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart for a 24th week. With the track’s newest week on top, Brown now claims the two songs with the most weeks at No. 1 in the chart’s 28-year history with “Crazy” and “No Guidance.”
“Crazy” reigns for its 24th frame on the list dated March 13. Its latest term comes despite a 5% drop to 21.6 million in audience impressions for the week ending March 7, according to MRC Data. Brown and Young’s single began its extended rule on Aug. 22, interrupted only by a six-week streak for Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later,” featuring Lil Durk, in September-October.
With its 24th week, “Crazy” surpasses Miguel’s “Adorn” for the second-best sum in terms of weeks at No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay. The track only trails another Brown song, “No Guidance,” featuring Drake, which marshaled a record 27 weeks in charge in 2019-20.
