Fresh off her first All-Star appearance Seattle Storm’s Forward Breanna Stewart drops 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including the first eight points for the Storm. She also recorded a career-high six blocks and dished out five dimes. With 7:08 left in the first quarter, Breanna Stewart scored her 1,000th-career point. She becomes the third Storm player (Jewell Loyd, Alysha Clark) to accomplish that feat this season. In just her 54th-career game, she ties WNBA great Tamika Catchings for the fourth fastest in league history to attain this feat. hit a midrange jumper to move past Lauren Jackson (2,090) for the most field goals made in franchise history. She now has 2,091 made field goals for her career. Sue Bird, also dished out five assists while adding eight points. She is currently 60 dimes away from passing former WNBA great Ticha Penicheiro for first on the WNBA’s all-time assist’s list. Bird continues to make her way up the all time steal’s list as well currently sitting eighth surpassing 600-career steals in her 15 active seasons in the WNBA.

Jewell Loyd had a  strong outing scoring in double figures for the 18th time this season, finishing with 13 points and a 2-for-5 effort from behind the arch.

Crystal Langhorne continues her double-figures streak to 12 straight games. She posted 12 points and grabbed a team-best 10 rebounds to seal her second double-double of 2017.

Los Angeles’ frontcourt of Candace Parker (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Nneka Ogwumike (13 points, 10 rebounds) anchored the Sparks 39-28 edge on the glass, as the Sparks weathered a late Storm comeback on the way to assuming the season series with a 68-60 win.
