Witten By Zaina Cummins

With only one album under her belt, Cardi B is already one of the most famous artists on the planet. With their latest single ‘WAP’ hitting three times platinum in the US, fans eagerly await Cardi’s second album, which is set to be with us at some time this year.

Cardi B Set To Release New Album In 2021

With fan pressure mounting, on Instagram Live on October 17, Cardi told people that she’s due to be turning in the album in seven days time.

In April, when celebrating two years of her debut album, ‘Invasion Of Privacy’, Cardi said: “Happy Birthday Miss INVASION OF PRIVACY. My first baby. I’m working on her sister so I can birth her this year.”

Before that, in February 2020, Cardi had seemed reluctant to put an exact date on the album. “I can never put a date on it because, like, when you feel like you’ve got those songs, that’s when it’s gonna come out,” she explained. “I cannot put a date on my ears, you know what I’m saying?”

And in August, things seemed a little hazier still, with Cardi telling interviewer Angie Martinez: “I have other projects coming out that don’t involve music, but when it comes to music I think I’m going to put out another single. I don’t have my album ready yet. But even when I feel I have my album ready, I’m still debating when I should put out an album too.”

With ‘WAP’ success still riding high, perhaps Cardi is considering how she can possibly top that with her next release. Either way we’re eager to hear more.

Cardi B Files For Divorce From Migos Group Member Offset

Second time’s the charm! Female rapper Cardi B has recently filed for a divorce from her husband of three years and father of their two-year-old daughter, Offset

HustleTV Cardi B Files For Divorce From Migos Group Member Offset DJ Hustle

Cardi B filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse on Tuesday, explaining that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation,” reportedly after finding out the Migos rapper had been unfaithful yet again, PEOPLE confirms. The split couple are due in court Nov. 4.

For months, many rumors have circulated about the Offset’s infidelity. This is not the first time that these rumors have circulated. In January 2018, Cardi confirmed that Offset was at the center of a sex tape cheating scandal after rumors of a video with another woman surfaced in December 2017, three months after the couple had secretly tied the knot.

HustleTV Cardi B Files For Divorce From Migos Group Member Offset DJ Hustle

In a February 2018 interview with Cosmopolitan, Cardi opened up about the situation and why she decided to stay.

“I know I look good, I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player,” she said. “But I want to work out my s— with my man, and I don’t gotta explain why.”

“I’m not your property. This is my life … I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision,” she added. “It’s not right, what he f—ing did — but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.”

Then in December 2018, Cardi confirmed that she and Offset had split, that they “grew out of love” via Instagram video; which has since then been deleted.

“So everybody has been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby’s father for a hot minute now,” Cardi said.

“We are really good friends and we are really good business partners — you know he’s always somebody that I run to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other — but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time,” she explained.

“It’s nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love, but we are not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father,” she concluded.

Offset pleaded for his wife to come back, offering a lengthy apology on Instagram a week after Cardi announced their split.

Regardless of recent apologies made by Offset, it is still clear that he has not learned his lesson. No further information has been provided as they await their court date. The couple still remains split.

What’s So Polarizing about WAP https://hustletv.tv/whats-so-polarizing-about-wap/ Sun, 16 Aug 2020 03:00:43 +0000 https://hustletv.tv/?p=13310 What’s So Polarizing about WAP

Written By Kaila Love

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP video has caused a wave of controversy and became an instant point of discussion on the Internet since it dropped on August 8.   Criticisms range from Cee-Lo Green upholding the art to demonstrate how “music today is very unfortunate and disappointing on a personal and moral level” to Republican congressional candidate, James P. Bradley claiming the song made him want to pour holy water into his ears. Even Tiger King’s Carol Baskin weighed in to express disdain for the use of big cats in the video. So what is it about WAP that has been so polarizing?

What's So Polarizing about WAP HustleTV
What’s So Polarizing about WAP HustleTV

There’s a side that claims WAP is a powerful display of female sexuality, confidence, and empowerment. Their opposition argues that this is a setback for women and the rights they have fought for. A fact that can’t be denied is that it’s the biggest female collaboration to break 24 million hits in 24 hours – a stat that either has people saying this is break-through for women artists or this is exactly what’s wrong with the industry. Is there a reality where both of these truths can be possible? Is it possible to appreciate a piece of art, but also critique it without feeling like you’re picking one of these sides? Let’s dive deeper.

After watching the video, I wasn’t exactly sure what all the controversy was about. The visual is aesthetically beautiful with elaborate costumes and set design, but while the content is very sexual in nature – it’s nothing that Hip Hop – and American culture – hasn’t seen before. In fact, this type of portrayal of women is found in countless Hip Hop videos by male artists, yet they never seem to receive this level of flack. If everything about this video were the same, yet it was a male artist rapping while Cardi and Meg were video vixens, I don’t see there being the same criticisms.  One of the reasons the WAP video has become so polarizing is due to bringing up this age-old double-standard back to the surface.

What's So Polarizing about WAP
What’s So Polarizing about WAP

If you don’t like what you see in WAP and believe it’s poisoning the minds of youth as some critics have claimed, then it’s not Cardi B or Meg Thee Stallion you should be mad at – it’s the industry. While one can argue that it is on parents to be more mindful about what media and music their children are exposed to, the reality of the world is that many kids have access to content they shouldn’t have with the accessibility to the Internet and it’s impossible for most parents to police that at all times. The music industry knows this and is a powerful institution of influence. Cardi has even said herself on an Instagram live stream that “the music industry is snake-ier than the streets” but despite that it’s not just like she can leave it either. This all just part of the game.

Cardi B and Meg Thee Stallion Shut Down The Internet https://hustletv.tv/cardi-b-and-meg-thee-stallion-shut-down-the-internet/ Mon, 10 Aug 2020 15:20:27 +0000 https://hustletv.tv/?p=13265 Cardi B and Meg Thee Stallion shut down the internet

Zaina Cummins

Released Friday, Cardi B and Meg Thee Stallion’s song WAP shook the entire internet. The song itself wasn’t much to discuss; but the visual is what really had the people on the edge of their seats.

The baseline of the song is a sampled snippet from an old Baltimore club track, Frank Ski’s “Whores in This House.” Catchy, and very telling.

A collaboration with Megan and Cardi was long overdue. Their flows are dramatically different; yet the charisma booming from their voice — you can quickly imagine each of them without ever watching “WAP’s” music video, which is also another joy.

The visual was the representation of sex appeal. The two ladies showed that they could do more than just rap; they could have fun with it. Not to mention, phenomenal and unique appearances were made by Normani, Mulatto, Rubi Rose and Kylie Jenner to name a few.

These two women have easily become pop music’s biggest stars. Some would argue that they are walking in the same footsteps as Lil Kim, Khia, Trina and Foxy Brown.

But unfortunately, not everyone was sold on the song.

Republican congressional candidate, James P. Bradley, who’s running to replace California’s Ted Lieu said that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion “are what happens when children are raised without God and without a strong father figure.” He went on to say that “WAP,” which he claimed to have heard “accidentally,” “made me want to pour holy water in my ears.”

The negative comments from Bradley didn’t phase the two one bit. Nevertheless, the music video for WAP has already received 57 million views on YouTube; and the numbers continue to go up.

The two female rappers along with the women included in the music video, were trending on Twitter for about two days since the release and still are. WAP is a much better piece of art than it is a song. Although it is a song intentionally directed toward women, the male audience loved it just as much.

With one week to go before the arrival of her introduction collection, Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B kicks up the suspicion a score by dropping the new single, “Be Careful,” today (March 30).

The tune is less vivacious than the Atlantic Records craftsman’s current bangers and discovers Cardi tending to relationship hardships over a bouncy tune delivered by Vinylz, Boi-1da and Frank Dukes. Hustle

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper isn’t here for the BS. “Believe me, nigga, it’s cool, however/Said that you was workin’, yet you’re around here chasin’ culo,” she raps. “What’s more, putas, chillin’ poolside, livin’ two lives/I could’ve did what you did to me to you a couple of times/But in the event that I decided to slide, discover a nigga/Fuck him, suck his dick, you would’ve been pissed/But that is not my M.O., I’m not that kind of bitch/And karma for you is gon’ be who you wind up with.”

We even hear Cardi singing a bit on the track, as she murmurs on the chorale, “The main man, infant, I love/I gave you everything, what’s mine is yours/I need you to carry on with your life obviously/But I trust you get what you dyin’ for/Be watchful with me.”

It’s go time now, with the Bronx rapper formally revealing her presentation. After first giving the LP an October 2017 discharge date a year ago, Bardi ruled against it and regrouped. Amid her acknowledgment discourse for Best New Artist at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards fourteen days prior, she uncovered her intends to put out the task one month from now. “My collection will come in April, OKurrr,” she told the group. “Yessir. “Finesse” is the first No. 1-appearing title on Streaming Songs since the melody that it dethrones following 14 weeks to finish everything: Post Malone’s “Rockstar,” including 21 Savage. Mars indents his second No. 1 on the list and first as a lead artist, following his 12-week reign in 2015 as included on Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk!” DJ Hustle

Cardi B in like manner accomplishes her second Streaming Songs No. 1, after her presentation hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” bested the outline for two weeks starting Sept. 30.

Top 10 sums: Mars counts his fifteenth Hot 100 best 10 and Cardi B gathers her fourth. Her second and third best 10s stay in the locale: G-Eazy’s “No Restriction,” including A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, holds at No. 5 (in the wake of coming to No. 4) and Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s “MotorSport” slips 8-10 (in the wake of hitting No. 6).

Third chance will be the one, for third time, for Mars: Especially amazingly, Mars has now earned three Hot 100 best 10s from each of his initial three legitimate collections, ending up only the second male artists and 6th act in general to accomplish the vocation opening accomplishment.

“Finesse” takes after the 24K Magic title cut, which came to No. 4 on the Hot 100 in December 2016, and “That is What I Like,” which bested the May 13, 2017-dated graph. (Third single “Versace on the Floor” topped at No. 33 in September.)

Bruno Mars’ debut LP, 2010’s Doo-Wops and Hooligans, created the twin four-week Hot 100 pioneers “Only the Way You Are” and “Grenade” and the No. 4-cresting “The Lazy Song.” 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox yielded two all the more No. 1s, “Bolted Out of Heaven” (a month and a half) and “When I Was Your Man” (one), and the No. 5 hit “Treasure.” (Mars initially discharged the EP It’s Better If You Don’t Understand in 2010.) HustleTV

Cardi B On Her Rise To Hip Hop Top 100 https://hustletv.tv/cardi-b-on-her-rise-to-hip-hop-top-100/ Mon, 25 Dec 2017 18:21:52 +0000 https://hustletv.tv/?p=11881 Cardi B On Her Rise To Hip Hop Top 100

Cardi B should be on top of the world. If her Instagram account, TV appearances and recent magazine profiles are to be believed, she should literally be on top of a pile of money on top of a table on top of a neon bearskin rug. It has been just over a month since her surprise hit, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” surrendered its three-week rule on the Billboard Hot 100, and in that time she has turned 25; played the Barclays Center field (twice) close by rap’s greatest stars; brought home five BET dope awards, including best new hip-hip mc and Hustler of the Year; executed a verse nearby Nicki Minaj on Migos’ “MotorSport” (which broke the main 10 on the Hot 100); and gotten drew in to Migos’ Offset, who gave her a $550,000 ring with a gigantic custom-cut raindrop precious stone. (Half a month after this meeting, she’ll additionally get two Grammy gestures – best rap execution and best rap melody – for “Bodak Yellow.”) DJ Hustle

So when I discover Cardi in a calm, book-and block lined niche at Los Angeles’ Carondolet House – an Italian estate turned-occasions scene where she has been posturing for photographs throughout the day – I’m astonished to see that she looks, well, hopeless. When I ask her how she’s doing, Cardi turns upward from the sandwich she has been jabbing at and squints until the point when I come into center.

For every last bit of her online networking shenanigans and quotable crudity, Cardi B isn’t a toon. She’s simply extremely genuine. Furthermore, whatever pressure incited, compensation of-popularity torment she’s misery from right now, Cardi’s anxious to state that she is so upbeat to be here and excitedly answers my inquiries (in the middle of, that is, long delays to ply her sanctuaries). She says topping the Hot 100 was “like winning the lottery.” She asserts the strip club-themed astonish party her name Atlantic tossed her was “more uncommon than my birthday.” She’s so lowered by the way that air terminal workers have been praising her that she specifies it twice. “What’s more, dislike a salutation everyone has had,” includes Cardi. “Like, ‘Goodness, you had an infant,’ or, ‘you graduated.’ It’s No. 1 HustleTV

The charismatic group has been relentlessly teasing their upcoming “Culture 2” album with
snippets, Instagram posts and more, but finally, we are receiving a taste of what to expect with
this upcoming project. With previews of a fire collaboration featuring both the likes of both the
queen, Nicki Minaj and the Bronx sensation, Cardi B, yesterday via social media, Migos is back
with an instant banger entitled “Motor Sport!” Released earlier this morning on the Breakfast
Club, the track is most definitely worth the time and listen.
Honestly, who would have thought in a million years that the world would ever hear Nicki
Minaj, Migos and Cardi B on a track together? If you answered, “no one” then you are
absolutely correct! The hit begins with Migos setting the atmosphere for the song.

Each member contains such a flavor that it can be missed if one does not pay attention to the
lyrics and flow. They all serve up hot bars, clever punchlines, and do it easily, while also adding
their own personal touches to make themselves stand out amongst one another. As usual, Quavo
immediately comes through with such a contagious chorus that it has listeners rolling their
shoulders like Lil Uzi for the remainder of the song.

“Motorsport, yeah, put that thing in sports (skrrt, skrrt)
Shawty bad (bad), pop her like a cork (pop it)
You a dork, never been a sport (dork, yeah)
Pull up (woo, woo), jumpin’ out the court (court, jump)”

With what sounds like bells on top of a heavy bass booming beat, the production is very clean
and high-tech. It matches each of the members’ flows and truly makes their lyrics pop out more.
Filled braggadocios lyrics, entertaining bars, and adlibs that cannot be touched by any other
group, Migos certainly makes their presence known before Cardi storms through with her
scorching verse.
Cardi brings the sex appeal into the song as she raps about how she pleasures her man and does it
well She switches gears and proceeds to address the haters claiming that she acts different now
that she has bossed her life up and leveled up in many ways. Following her boo, Offset, she also
brings the same cocky swagger into her verse as she raps,
“Same h*es, that was sendin’ shots
They reachin’ out like their back itchin’
Why would I hop in some beef (why?)
When I could just hop in a Porsche?”
You heard she gon’ do what from who?

Before reaching the song’s end, the vet, Nicki the Ninja steps up to bat, and painlessly hits a
homerun. With much animation, swift metaphors (that may not be caught on first listen), and
cockiness, Nicki quickly gathers her haters and reminds all of them why she has run the Hip-Hop
game for as long as she has.

“Uh, yo, watch your man, then you should watch your mouth
B****es is pressed, administer mouth to mouth
You see them stats, you know, what I am about
I am the champ, I’m Iron Mike in a bout
Attention, I’ma need you to face front”

Motor Sport delivers a theme of confidence and somewhat cockiness. From production, to lyrics,
to pure delivery, it makes listeners want to boss up on whoever tried to downplay them or carry

them. The song is perfect for the radio, the club, the next major function, the ride to and from the
function, and much more. Not only do Migos know how to make great records they also create
great collaborations appreciated by fans, listeners, and even other artists.
Motor Sport is now available on streaming services and iTunes. If you have not yet listened, do
it… right now! DJ Hustle

Cardi B Bodies Billboard Hot 100 Chart https://hustletv.tv/cardi-b-bodies-billboard-hot-100-chart/ Wed, 11 Oct 2017 22:07:46 +0000 https://hustletv.tv/?p=11366 Cardi B Bodies Billboard Hot 100 Chart
for Third Week Straight with “Bodak Yellow” at No. 1!

It is beyond safe to say that 2017
belongs to none other than New
York’s own Cardi B. Both her
work ethic and credentials prove
her a force to be reckoned with.
While she has been busy at work
with two mixtapes now under her
belt, the charismatic wonder has
already struck gold extremely
early in her career. The insanely
contagious “Bodak Yellow,”
released earlier in the summer,
remains unbothered on the
Billboard Hot 100 charts for a
third week!

On Monday (Sept 25), the rising
star became the first female rapper
in nearly over two decades to top
the Billboard Hot 100 charts
without a feature on her “Bodak

Yellow” single; This feat has not been done by anyone else other than the iconic Lauryn Hill
with the soulful yet relevant hit, “Doo Wop (That Thing),” in 1998.
Let’s be completely honest, since the song’s conception in the summer, listeners cannot help but
sing excitedly along to the tune. This song literally swept the nation by storm in only a matter of
mere months. The moment you hear that beat drop, Cardi’s voice, and the words, “Said, “Lil
B**** you can’t f*** wit me, if you wanted to”,” the mood instantly changes, listeners get
pumped to the max and the party atmosphere is set.
Now in October, the song is literally the biggest record in the country according the Billboard
Hot 100 charts. According to “chart data” the Bronx beauty’s “Bodak Yellow” continues to
proudly hold the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for a third week in a row! Chart
data shared the news with the world on Monday, (Oct. 9) through its Twitter platform.

Along with the recent news of the song’s three week run at the top, chart data also tweeted that
“Bodak Yellow” is in a tie with Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” as both tracks
are the “longest running female Hot 100 #1 of 2017.” If that is not enough, Chart Data also
shared that “Bodak Yellow” is actually now, “the longest running solo female rap #1 in Hot 100
history.” DJ Hustle
The good news simply continues as the banger has already attained platinum status! Whether
anyone likes it or not, feels that she does or does not deserve the recognition, Cardi is here to
stay and shut the doubters and haters all the way up. She already has made her presence known
with blazing records stemming from her previous mixtapes such as, “Foreva,” “Pull Up,” and
“Lick,” featuring her new love interest, 1/3 of Hip-Hop group Migos, rapper Offset.
The former Love and Hip-Hop reality star literally shows no sign of slowing down and fans are
completely here for this energy! Some may ask, “what’s next” for the New York native. The

grind does not end there as she also features on yet another club banger out with the talented G-
Eazy and the forever cozy, A$AP Rocky entitled, “No Limit.”

She also has been hard at work prepping her debut album for listeners and fan base, which she
calls her “Bardi Gang. While the project’s arrival has been pushed back from its original
expected release of this month, music enthusiasts, trap lovers, and fans alike can expect new
content from her very soon!
Congratulations on yet another significant mark in the music industry Cardi!
