Issa Surprise Metro Boomin Offset 21 Savage Unleash Without Warning Album
Just as a magician never reveals their secrets, Offset, Metro Boomin, and 21 Savage definitely
kept this collaborative effort up their sleeves, until yesterday (Oct 30). Released an hour before
midnight, as a treat for Halloween, the dynamic trio teamed up to give the world Without
Warning, a 10 tracked joint album filled with bangers!
The project’s only features are the highly energetic, Travis Scott, and the hook king himself,
Quavo of Migos.
One might ask, “How on Earth did these three find the time to make a joint album together?”
The three have both been extremely busy with their own individual efforts. 21 released his debut
album, Issa Album earlier this year, Offset has been exploding on charts worldwide individually
and along with the scorching hot group, Migos, and Metro has been blowing up the production
scene with his joint project, Perfect Timing with Nav and also unveiling his new music label,
Boominati.
Without Warning is a perfect mesh of both Offset and 21 Savage. The two come together like
peanut butter and jelly over Metro’s insane production. One of the first standouts on the album is
“Rap Saved Me!” 21 Savage gets in his bag and triggers that “Savage Mode” 21 that everyone
has longed to hear with his chorus. Offset effortlessly delivers as usual and gives a quick two-
piece combo with his verse that sets the tone for the rest of the album, leaving listeners pumped
and ready for more. Quavo, comes in with his vocals and captivating verse. Quavo’s delivery is
unrivaled as he still makes himself stand out amongst both 21 and Offset.
The production on the LP is truly unprecedented and continues to show why there really is no
one in Metro’s lane. With various bells, loops, and sequences, Metro has the production literally
going insane throughout the entire project.
The next track, “Ric Flair Drip” featuring only Offset and Metro is an instant banger. Offset
shows once again he can hold his own by himself and delivers one of the utmost best verses on
the project. DJ Hustle
On the opposite end, 21 and Metro team up for “Run Up the Racks” and 21 does not disappoint.
Over a hypnotic / eerie type of beat, 21 unleashes his savage and truly activates his swag all
throughout the record. The song literally sounds like vintage 21 and longtime listeners will
appreciate the song. 21 is also another who knows who to create magic with choruses and put
words together that stick with listeners and keep them hype throughout the entire song.
“Nightmare” is another record that instantly sticks on its first play. Offset sets the atmosphere for
the song with his clever punchlines, delivery, and very contagious chorus. While the song is the
shortest track on the album, it most certainly is one of the bests. While Offset never disappoints
in the group setting, he truly strives individually. His flow is smooth, adlibs are perfect, and his
swag is most definitely untouched.
One of the last standouts on Without Warning for certain is Mad Stalkers. Both 21 and Offset
were truly feeling themselves on this record. 21 comes alive on the record in both the chorus and
his verse. Again, he channels that traditional 21 that everyone fell in love with and Offset holds
his own with his trap inspired verse.
The two truly bounce off of each other like a type of synergetic relationship and make one
another sound better. The album is definitely worth the listen and is literally perfect for any party
or fun event. The production sounds amazing in the car as well, and makes for a great mood lifter
regardless of the intended destination.
