Big Sean Metro Boomin Kill Double or Nothing Joint Album

Big Sean has effortlessly killed just about the entire year of 2017. From releasing his fourth,
platinum album, I Decided, his increasingly spicy relationship with the psychedelic vibe, Jhene
Aiko, to clothing endorsements and more, Big Sean has kept his foot on the pedal with no signs
of easing up. Metro Boomin has most certainly also had a great year. The 24-year- old hit
producer has teamed up with heavy hitting artists for both amazing projects and singles,
launched his very own record label and continues to make larger than life hits. The two have also
collaborated together on records such as “Bounce Back,” and “Sacrifices.”
The two have finally come together again and released a joint project entitled, Double Or
Nothing! Released on Friday (Dec. 8) at midnight, the 10-track project comes after both Sean
and Metro released the album’s hit single “Pull Up N Wreck,” featuring 21 Savage last month.
Although some might find the joint effort unexpected and a bit random, the project contains
bangers and heat unlike other projects released this year.

Metro sets the atmosphere with immaculate production on the Travis Scott-assisted, “Go
Legend.” Scott uses his mojo and delivers a great chorus that instantly sticks on the first play. As
usual, Sean uses witty, swift wordplay and metaphors that flow right over listeners’ heads on the
first play.
The first personal favorite arises with the second track, the 2 Chainz-blessed, “Big Bidness.”
Both Sean and Chainz rip their verses with ease. Sean unapologetically talks his talk as he
reminds both the listeners and haters that he is doing big numbers and only “big business.” The
delivery is incredible, the production matches Sean’s flow giving the perfect amount of
dramatics and theatrics to follow Sean’s nearly spotless flow.
The next standout arises with Who’s Stopping Me. Sean just spills his thoughts onto paper. In
one moment, he speaks about his dream of riding and smoking with Rosa Parks, and in the next,
he speaks about praying for his enemies. Metro is truly a force to be reckoned with as the
production gets better with each song. Of course, the album’s lead single, “Pull Up N Wreck” is
an instant banger, 21 savage pulls one of his Savage Mode verses out and goes in on the track as
Big Sean effortlessly strolls through the song with the chorus and his verses. HustleTV

A sneaky yet contagious standout from the album is “So Good” feat. Kash Doll. The two get
straight nasty on the record. Both Kash Doll and Sean talk that talk as they describe in depth
exactly what it is they would do to their significant others if they could quit their jobs. Metro
provides the sauce with the smooth production as Sean and Kash Doll deliver what may be the
next hot nasty anthem. Kash Doll comes through with her soft voice but her lines still pack a
heavy punch as she reminisces over her encounters with her lover. They paint a vivid picture on
the record and listeners will see it clearly on the first listen.
The last standout on the project arrives with “Savage Time” Sean’s flow is untouched and his
passion blazes through the track’s entirety. With topics ranging from the water in Flint, our
current president and political state, his girl, and his come up, Sean lays it all on the table. It is as
if listener’s see a look into Sean’s diary as he speaks his mind on everything.
The second half of the album makes for a good listen and an overall great project with features
from Young Thug and Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd. Metro continues to outdo himself leaving

everyone wondering how he will top himself. Sean takes us on yet another journey with lyricism
that covers spirituality, positivity, health, energy, and more. While he delivers those assassin
style verses, he still makes sure that the focus on leveling up and finding peace in oneself is clear
Through every album Sean always focuses on progression and elevation.
Although he ripped the album, it has simply become the norm. Sean has reached a level in his
career where it is expected that he bodies whatever he puts his mouth to. So, it was expected that
he came hard on this project. However, it is still appreciated, meaningful, and stimulating.
Double Or Nothing further solidifies Big Sean as an artist and raises his price even more.
