Tinashe & Future Get Hypnotic In Faded Love
Tinashe is back with her second single from her highly anticipated Joyride album, “Faded Love”.
This time around, the young star teams with Future for the melodious track. With dreamy,
mesmerizing production, Tinashe gets right to the point with her lover saying “No, don’t give me
your name. No, I don’t need your number saved. Just follow me, follow me, follow me, follow
me home. Let’s just feel this feeling.” The song gives off this mellow, relaxed vibe as the song
continues. The chorus is so catchy and soothing and makes you feel calm throughout the entire
song. Hustle
Future Hendrix brings the charisma on the song with his mixture of singing, rapping and usage
of auto-tune. He leaves nothing to the imagination as he raps, “Before I give my half-Dominican
girl up, I need real love. I’m on my fourth stripper of the day, I keep a full thoroughbred
Jamaican, I’ma find your G-spot like you dropped your location. He even throws in some
religious lines as he continues, “If you love, you can teach me, wanna learn; Take you farther
than Jerusalem when it’s my turn. We so spiritually connected… we goin’ in the right direction.”
Imagine a summer night near the beach, with a bottle of wine, dancing with your significant
other / lover. Essentially, that is the exact energy “Faded Love” delivers. It’s entrancing,
hypnotic and harmonious. While it diverts from the typical trap record it is just so wavy and
calming. It makes you want to dance all night long. The production is truly invigorating and
really makes the song enjoyable. When asked why she teamed with Future, Tinashe told Beats 1,
“Future’s on my first album and that was one of my favorite songs on the first album, but I felt
like it was pretty underrated,” the songstress shared. “So, I was like, ‘It would be perfect to have
him back again.’ I thought this song was really an interesting song to put him on because it was a
little more unexpected, a little bit more muted, and not necessarily like a trap music, or
something that would be obvious. It’s a kind of new flavor.” HustleTV
Faded Love is the second out of three new singles from Tinashe’s upcoming, Joyride album. She
previously released the trap-heavy collaboration, “No Drama,” featuring Offset and hinted at
another upcoming track entitled, “Me So Bad.” If the rest of the album mimics the Tinashe’s
latest singles, then it’s safe to say we are indeed ready to hear the fire! Faded Love is available
on music streaming services along with iTunes. DJ Hustle
