Elle Varner Returns to Music with “Casanova”

It has been a couple years since we’ve heard from the soul-filled, centric wonder known as Elle
Varner. However, Ms. “Refill” herself is back on the music scene and oh so much better! In
honor of her 29 th birthday, the R&B songstress returns with a new song entitled, “Casanova.” Co-
produced by Nascent Beats and Epikh Pro, “Casanova” reveals a new energy within Varner. Her
voice is erotic, strong, and commanding. Varner’s vocals channels that of Ms. Jilly from Philly
and the iconic Erykah Badu. It just feels really good listening to it. Hustle

Varner bellows about losing dead weight off of her shoulders as she drops this “Casanova” that
she sings about. She lets her lover know that if you can’t see me for what I am, and value my
worth then I cannot wait for you to get the picture. She is completely unapologetic, fierce, and
passionate in the song. She delivers a vibe that is so very necessary to the genre of R&B. It is
right on time and sounds amazing. It is also great in the sense that it shows Elle in a different
way. While her vocals are as still as powerful and glorious as before, the production and her
delivery help to bring forth this… mature, more sensual side of Elle. Even as she is singing about
essentially being done with a dude, it still just sounds so… sexy. With elements of trap, jazz, and
