NBA Suspends Season Until Further Notice

The NBA has suspended its season “until further notification” after an Utah Jazz player has been tested positive Wednesday for the coronavirus.

“The NBA is suspending game play following the finish of today around evening time’s timetable of games until further notification,” the association said in an announcement gave soon after 9:30 p.m. ET. “The NBA will utilize this rest to decide subsequent stages for pushing ahead as to the coronavirus pandemic.”

The player is the Jazz’s Rudy Gobert, sources revealed to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. That prompted Utah’s down at Oklahoma City being delayed not long before tipoff.
