The Los Angeles Lakers rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Golden State Warriors 104-101 on Monday night, taking a 3-1 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series.
LeBron James scored 27 points and Anthony Davis had 23 points and 15 rebounds for the Lakers, who moved to the brink of an improbable trip to the Western Conference finals.
The Warriors, who had won the previous two games in the series, led by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter. But the Lakers rallied behind a strong performance from their bench, which outscored the Warriors’ bench 40-22 in the game.
Lonnie Walker IV scored 15 points off the bench for the Lakers, while Malik Monk added 14 points.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 31 points, while Klay Thompson added 21 points.
The Lakers will look to close out the series in Game 5 on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
