Hali’s music style can be described as Caribbean with a twist of neo-Soul and a bit of pop, though he is best known as an Afrobeat artist.Though he is Liberian, his fans say he has the accent of a Nigerian singer. In 2017, Hali released “The One For Me,” which reached #65 on Billboard’s Urban chart and the video for the EP’s first single, “Samba,” gained over 330K views upon release. On the new EP, Hali says, “It was a fun, but challenging, experience creating ‘Tamba Juice.’ You’ll hear smooth laid back, fun music that’s full of energy, perfect for all ages to vibe to.” Though Hali is no longer a football player, he still has love for his Kansas City Chiefs roots.
