5 Seconds of Summer reschedule their ‘’No Shame’’ tour and announce new dates in 2022

‘’5 Seconds of Summer’’ consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Luke Hemmings, lead guitarist Michael Clifford, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin. As of today, the popular pop boy band ‘’5 Seconds of Summer’’ or also known as ‘’5SOS’’ to their fans, have shared that they are going to delay their tour called ‘’No Shame’’. ‘’No Shame’’ is a song of their fourth studio album entitled ‘’Calm’’ that came out March 27 of last year. The announcement was made on Twitter when 5SOS themselves posted a message on their account discussing that while the country is starting to lift restrictions, they still want to be cautious and safe especially now with everyone getting vaccines and masks slowly coming off.
They say they will have to ‘’postpone our upcoming tour dates one more time, to a period that we can all count on’’, revealing that they had previously had to postpone their tour because of covid and are forced to do the same again. Of course, fans took onto Twitter to voice their opinions on this, some users suggested that the band do a virtual tour which isn’t so far fetched as we’ve seen other artists such as Lil Yachty, Halsey, Kylie Minogue, Sam Smith, Billie Eilish, Chloe & Hallie, and etc do shows over the internet.
However, some people warned against the idea of a virtual concert due to scammers and fake online trying to convince people to give them money. So that might be a sign for 5SOS to stay away from the notion of a online event. Other fans were more excited about the fact that 5SOS said that they will be dropping new music next year as well. It seems as if 5SOS fans everywhere at least have something good to look forward to amidst this new tour delay.
